The key challenge: scaling the technical infrastructure and building systems, combined with intelligent control and sustainable implementation. Our solution: a complex, interconnected, and energy-efficient design – enabling long-term, cost-effective operation.

A modern education campus for up to 3,000 students was built in the new Freiham district of Munich. We were responsible for the comprehensive technical systems – from heating, ventilation, cooling, and sanitary installations to fire protection systems, building automation, and technical outdoor facilities.
The complex includes an elementary school, a grammar school, a secondary school, and a special needs education center. It is complemented by specialized facilities for STEM and creative subjects, a library, a double sports hall, and a central kitchen with dining areas. Our focus was on sustainable, resource-efficient planning and execution.
Centralized building automation precisely and efficiently controls indoor climate, energy consumption, and safety-critical systems. The cooling supply for the kitchen’s deep-freeze storage rooms was optimized for high performance and minimal energy use. Intelligent ventilation strategies ensure a demand-driven supply of fresh air throughout the buildings. All systems are designed to work together across disciplines within an integrated fire protection concept. We placed particular emphasis on forward-looking systems, perfectly coordinated to ensure efficient and secure long-term operation.
